This unique picture Bible covers every story and every book, and each part of every story. This DVD includes an illustrated overview of books without stories in them, such as Deuteronomy. Vol. 1 is 2 hours long. Non-denominational.
650 pictures provide a new illustration every 8-10 seconds. When needed, maps show the routes traveled, using simple animation. The easy-to-understand script is ASV based. This is narrated non-fiction, 100% Bible, and children find it fascinating and entertaining. It builds a solid background of Bible knowledge, with a visual recall of each story, developing a love for the scriptures.
If the story is long in the Bible, it may take 8 to 14 minutes to tell. If short, it may take only a few minutes. We condense the longer stories, but do not pad any stories with things not in the scriptures. Also, we use some of the better known prophecies to connect the Old and New Testaments.
It’s great for people with reading or learning problems, visual difficulties (they can see it on a large screen), and the hard of hearing. Also ESL.
The demos show short sections of stories. To keep interest high, we use different artists for different story groups, and different narrators.
Parents have told us that their kids like it so well, they use it as a reward. One dad said his four-year-old son will sit quietly through the family Bible reading/discussion because he knows he’ll get to see the DVD version afterwards. Another family uses the DVD and activity book as a little Bible talk just before the kids go to bed. They often watch the same story several nights in a row, discussing different parts of the story each night.
